One thing new pet owners often want to know is how often to groom their labradoodle. Here’s some advice that will help you determine a schedule.
Most labradoodles require grooming every six to eight weeks. That’s frequent enough to keep knots and tangles away. At the same time, that schedule will preserve the natural oils that keep the coat healthy.
Of course, you could require more frequent grooming if your dog has especially thick hair. In that case, every four to six weeks might be more appropriate.
Brush your dog’s hair daily and bathe him about once a week or so. Doing so will ensure your pet’s hair remains in great shape until it is time for grooming again.
