A Labradoodle’s coat can be curly, wavy, or straight (similar to the coat of a Labrador Retriever). This means caring for your dog’s coat will very much depend on the type they have.
However, no matter whether their coat is wavy or straight, make sure you brush it regularly (ideally a couple of times a week) to remove any dirt and debris. This also helps to prevent knots from forming. Remember to also trim the hair around their eyes and paws. Labradoodles with fleece coats will also benefit from being clipped, keeping their fur in better condition for longer.
