Brushing tips for your labradoodle

To keep your labradoodle’s curly-coated cuteness properly groomed, his or her grooming regimen may include visits to a reputable groomer. But in between professional grooming sessions, a good weekly or bi-weekly brushing will help keep your pup’s coat in good condition.

  1. If your labradoodle’s hair is short, use a pin brush or a slicker brush to remove loose hair and dirt.
  2. If your dog’s coat is long, be sure to brush the entire length of the hair so that mats don’t form next to the skin.
  3. You can use a comb on sensitive spots, such as the ears and around the eyes, to make grooming time a relaxing and enjoyable experience for your labradoodle.
