Here are a couple of tips to help keep your Labradoodles warm:
- Watch the weather
- Groom them with the weather in mind
Even if your Labradoodle has a thick coat of fur, or you bundle them up with a sweater or vest, there will still be places on their bodies that are susceptible to cold. If the weather is too cold, keep your Labradoodle indoors if they usually are outdoors. Also, keep outside potty breaks very brief and watch them for signs of being cold.
It is wise to keep your Labradoodle’s coat longer in the winter, and only trim when necessary. Also, bathe them indoors instead of outdoors.
